Vote For Val! (January 20, 2007)The Wiltshire Times Unsung Heroes competition, is in it's final stages and has printed the short list in this weeks Wiltshire Times, and guess what? Val Priddey our Starry Eyes music producer is there.
Val spends many an hour finding the music that people need for their performances and putting together the music for ours and other performances or shows and engineering the desk for every occasion. People don't always think about the time and hard work and preparations that goes on behind the scenes, but some of our Starry Eyes folk have and she was nominated by Christopher Tong and Stella Chatfield.
Starry Eyes couldn't manage without the support and dedication that Val, who incidentally is one of the Directors and also the treasurer, has given not only to the productions, but the performers as well, by helping them to rehearse and helping to run Starry Eyes Sunday Workshops too. So 'VOTE FOR VAL' is the message I am sending out, she deserves it.
