Save Trowbridge Hospital (June 25, 2006)The Fete was a great day, bringing people out to enjoy the sun. Luck was on our side with the weather and everybody who came along came in support of Trowbridge Hospital.
The public had lots of fun and enjoyment with the different side stalls and raffles and relaxing on the grass enjoying the sunshine and listening to the Starry Eyes performers entertain.
Amusements included a stilt walker and a baby show.
Lots of signatures were collected in favor of saving Trowbridge Hospital from Closure, and appearances and speeches were given by The MP Dr. David Murrison and the Trowbridge Mayor Councillor Tom James and Councillor Jeff Osborne gave speeches, outlining the importance of our community hospital, but we need more!. The day was a pleasant and happy success for all.
