Melksham pop Idol 2006 (June 19, 2006)What a success it was! The Heats produced an amazing day of entertainment, and then just when the judges thought they had an easier task of selecting their chosen acts from the finalist, they stepped up another gear and proved a night mare to decide between. They were all so brilliant and they put on an amazing show for the capacity audience.
The judges, as difficult as it was, finally made their choice the results were as follows:
A good Time was had by all, with the sponsors paying £50 each for a draw to see who would be the main sponsor and Roland donating a fabulous Roland Key Board. The prize went to Mrs. Griggs of Trowbridge.
All money raised will go towards The Melksham Party in the Park which promises to be a hot event with a tribute band to Cold Play will be headlining the night. During the afternoon, Starry Eyes and The Pop Idol Winners will be appearing at the event amongst many other bands and artist. Also There will be a massive fire work display during the evening.
