Lauren Medway will be one of the headlining artists at the Variety Show at the Athenaeum Theatre Warminster. The curtain is billed to go up on Saturday 7th July at 7.30pm.
At the tender age of 10 years old Lauren is shocking people into disbelief with her amazing melodic vocals and is finding herself more and more in popular demand. Lauren took part in the entertainment provided by Starry Eyes Performance group for the Town Criers Competition in Trowbridge Town Centre last Saturday before scooting off to perform at a show in Bournemouth and then returning to Trowbridge to sing at a party in the evening.
Even the pouring rain couldn’t stop passers by stopping and listening, with looks of disbelief and sheer admiration on their faces as Laurens amazing melodic mature vocals rang out across the town. People just could not believe what they were hearing, such a big voice coming from this little girl. On Saturday afternoon Lauren will also make an appearance at The Forest and Sandridge, School Fete in Melksham on July 7th.
Lauren has sung with Starry Eyes from the age of 6 years old and has just got better and better with every passing day. David McCance who is putting on the event on Saturday night at the Athenaeum has worked with many great artists in the past and said “I believe Lauren is a sure star of the future and has the personality and ability to go all the way to the top”.
Lauren has already stirred interests with Sony BMG and has been recommended by top London agencies to audition for the West End Musicals.
The show is in aid of Imperial Charity Warminster who has provided lots of help for older people, children and young adults with special needs. Amongst other Artist to be appearing in the Warminster Variety Show is comedian and impressionist Kev who is a Bobby Davro look alike and an HTV ‘Stars In Your Eye’s’ finalist as George Formby, Andy Eastwood and his Ukulele. Also another ‘Stars In Your Eye’s’ winner, singer and impressionist is Derek Maddison who will be compering the evening.
Tickets are £6 with concessions for senior citizens.
